Services for Dakota Blake Mason, infant son of Jimmy Jr. and Angela Mason of Shallowater, Texas, were held at 10 a.m. Friday, October 18, at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel in Lubbock, Texas, with the Rev. John Burns officiating.
Prayer services were held at 7 p.m., Thursday, October 17, at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel.
Dakota was born March 12, 2001, in Ardmore, and died Sunday, October 13, 2002, in Shallowater.
Survivors include his parents, Jimmy Jr. and Angela Mason of Shallowater; a sister, Maria Dawn Mason of Shallowater; maternal grandparents, Angnos Levitte of Marietta and James Germany of Gainesville, Texas; maternal great-grandparents, Bartolo and Maria Gloria Vega of Shallowater and Warnesse Wallace of Gainesville; maternal great-great-grandmother, Ruth Shipman of Marietta; paternal grandparents, Jimmy Sr. and Primor Mason of Lubbock; and paternal great-grand-parent, Ola Jenkins of Owensville, Missouri.
Interment was in Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home, Lubbock.
