Services for Connie Sue McKay, 43, were Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in the Eastside Baptist Church. Officiating were Rev. Rick Sowell and Rev. Tim Emmons.
Mrs. McKay was born September 22, 1949, in Gainesville, Texas, the daughter of A.E. Billy and Ella Mae Kelly Harris. She died May 24, 1993, in Presbyterian Hospital, Oklahoma City.
A resident of Love County all of her life, she married Charles McKay in Marietta on September 2, 1967. Mrs. McKay was a member of the 4-H Federation and an active member of the Turner Booster Club. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her husband, Charles McKay of the home; four daughters and son-in-law, Cindy and Steve Hartman of Burneyville, Charla McKay of Marietta, and Cassey McKay and Christina McKay of the home; a granddaughter, McKaylyn Hartman of Burneyville; her parents, A.E. Billy and Ella Mae Harris of Enville; grandfather, Burl Elmore of Ardmore; two brothers, Ricky Dale Harris of Oklahoma City and Billy Van Harris of Enville; two sisters, Wanda Harris of Marietta and Shirley Jones of Thackerville.
Services were under the direction of Anderson-Kennedy Funeral Home with interment in Lakeview Cemetery. Pallbearers were Kevin Harris, Kent Harris, Lance Butler, Lyndal Butler, Billy Joe Jones, George Jones, and Brandon Harris.
