Graveside services for Bob D. McKinney, 58, of Marietta were Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in Lakeview Cemetery. Officiating was Rev. Bob Brown.
Mr. McKinney was born August 8, 1940, at Ardmore, and died July 19, 1999, in Mercy Health Love County, Marietta. He was the son of Weldon and Remelle Cluck McKinney.
A resident of Marietta most of his life, he married Edna Briscoe on January 31, 1972, at Sherman, Texas. Mr. McKinney was a retired insurance salesman and had worked at Dale's Superette for six years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Marietta.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Edna McKinney of the home; two sons, Michael McKinney of Athens, Georgia, and Robert McKinney of Fort Worth, Texas; two stepsons, Larry Briscoe of Lone Grove and Michael Briscoe of Marietta; a stepdaughter, Cathy Potts, also of Lone Grove; five grandchildren, nine stepgrandchildren and 11 stepgreat-grandchildren.
Services were directed by Kennedy Funeral Home.
