Services for Anna Ruth Milor, 79, were Friday at 2:00 p.m. in the Mahota Memorial Presbyterian Church with Rev. Ben Scott officiating.
Mrs. Milor was born October 7, 1919, at Springtown, Texas, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Parker, and died February 24, 1999, in Mercy Memorial Health Center, Ardmore.
She had lived in Love County all of her life and was married to Charles A. Milor, Sr. on August 21, 1938, in Marietta. Mrs. Milor was a teacher and a housewife. She was a member of the Mahota Memorial Presbyterian Church, the Love County Soil Conservation Board since 1989, the Big 5 Community Action Board for several years, and the Love County Democratic Party.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Charles A. II and Shari Milor of Overbrook; a daughter, Sammie Walker of Dallas, Texas; three grandchildren, Blake Milor, Joel Milor and Charles McConathy.
Mrs. Milor was preceded in death by her husband on April 23, 1985.
Services were directed by Kennedy Funeral Home with interment in Lakeview Cemetery. The committal service included a eulogy by Bob Highsmith. Assisting as pallbearers were Ron Worthen, Tankie Spivey, David Ralph Brewer, Mike Buxton, Wesley Liddell and Robert Hughes. Honorary bearers were Tom O'Connor, John Liddell, Carolyn Liddell, Don Bone, Claude Brannan, Dorothy Clifton and Cindy Flatt.
The family has requested that contributions be made to any of the following charities: American Cancer Society, American Diabetes Association, American Heart Association or the American Kidney Fund.
