Services for Allene Bowden Mauldin, 64, of Wilson, were held Sunday, October 10, at Crystalrock Cathedral, Ardmore, with Dr. Walt Spradling and the Rev. Mike Johnson officiating.
Mrs. Mauldin was born June 16, 1940, at Oil City, the daughter of Thomas Granville and Myrtle Levi Brown. She died Thursday, October 7, 2004, after a yearlong battle with cancer.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, David and LouAnn Lively of Durant and Terry and Dawn Womack of Tuttle; a daughter, Missy Bowden of Oklahoma City; two grandchildren, Blaklyn and Zackary Lively; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Norma Jean and Aaron Vanderburg of Milo and Janie and Clint Roller of Elmore City; a brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and JoAnn Brown of Wilson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Mauldin was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Buddy Brown; and a sister, Myrtle Stewart.
Pallbearers were Tim Brown, Ron Vanderburg, Tom Brown, Joe Bill Stewart, Mike Stewart and Jerry Wallace. Honorary pallbearers were Keith Baxter, Mike Pruitt, Tony Colvin and Chad Brown.
Interment was in Keller Cemetery, north of Wilson, under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home, Wilson.
