Services for William Lewis Lovell, 73, of Yukon, were held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 19, at Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home Chapel, Marietta, with the Rev. Dwight Hawkins officiating.
Mr. Lovell was born March 1, 1928, at Du Bois, Pennsylvania, the son of Frank and Eva Waggett Lovell. He died Thursday, March 15, 2001, in Integris Baptist Medical Center, Oklahoma City.
He had lived in the Yukon area for the past 20 years. He and the former Lula Belle Clark were married June 12, 1987, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Mr. Lovell was a self-employed electrical supply salesman before retiring. In his younger years, he enjoyed participating in sports. Mr. Lovell served in the U.S. Navy and was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of the India Shriner Temple of Oklahoma City and a 32nd Degree Mason. Mr. Lovell was also a member of the Lahoma Church of Christ in Mustang.
Survivors include his wife, Lula Belle Lovell of the home; and a sister and brother-in-law, Gloria and Ralph Magnacca of Bermuda Dunes, California.
Mr. Lovell was preceded in death by his parents.
Pallbearers were greeters of the India Shriner Temple and honorary pallbearers were members of the Indian Shriner Temple.
Interment was in Leon Cemetery under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home.
