Services for Kenneth Jay Johnson, 42, of Marietta, will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, August 15, at First Baptist Church, Ardmore, with the Rev. Tommy Higle and the Rev. Larry Heath officiating.
Mr. Johnson was born July 16, 1961, in Sulphur, the son of Jay and June Clifton Johnson. He died Monday, August 11, 2003, in Oklahoma City.
A resident of Marietta for 14 years, Mr. Johnson had moved here from Lone Grove. He and Joann Campo were married December 28, 1984, at Lone Grove. Mr. Johnson was employed with the Oklahoma Wildlife Department as a Wildlife Technician and served as a Game Warden. He was a member of the Department of Wildlife Employee Association, Corporate Sponsor of the National Turkey Foundation, and of the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors include his wife, Joann of the home; parents, Jay and June Johnson of Lone Grove; two sons, Cody Johnson and Michael Alvizo; two daughters, KennaKaye Johnson and Kaytlynn Johnson; a sister and brother-in-law, Sissie and WilRoy Keck of Foster; and a brother and sister-in-law, Tommy Jay and Suzie Johnson of Burneyville; a grandson, Dylan Alvizo; grandmother, Ruby Clifton of Roff; nieces, Whitney Ballard and Breahanna Johnson; nephews, Bradley Ballard and Justin Johnson; and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Joe and Linda Campo of Lone Grove.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Herd, Jimmie Henthorn, Jeremy Brothers, Bob Mullinax, Randall Currie and Dennis Geary. Honorary pallbearers will be Curtis Latham, Joe McGlocklin, Johnnie Davis, Leroy Tenpenny, Steve Bell, Tim Franklin, Kenny Hughes and David Speaks.
Interment will be in the Lone Grove Cemetery under the direction of Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home, Ardmore.
