Services for Julia Holt Hickman, 89, of Ardmore, were held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 23,in the Craddock Memorial Chapel, with Dr. Doug Miller officiating.
Mrs. Hickman was born February 26, 1914, at Greenville, the daughter of Edgar Eugene Holt and Rosetta Snell Holt. She died Sunday, April 20, 2003, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Hickman was a longtime resident of this area and worked selling Studio Girl Cosmetics. She attended the Asbury United Methodist Church. She and Aubrey Hickman were married on April 16, 1932, in Ardmore and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include a daughter Jeanette Rylant and a daughter-in-law, Margaret Hickman, both of Greenville; three grand-daughters, Debra Evans of Greenville, Carol Brawley of Lebanon, and Sharon Furnier of California; three grandsons, Billy and Mark Fuston of Ardmore and Darryl Hickman of Greenville.
Mrs. Hickman was also preceded in death by her parents; 12 brothers and sisters; one son, Donald R. Hickman; one grand-son; one great-grandson; and one great-great-grandson.
Pallbearers were great-grandsons, Brad Hubbard, Clay Berkes, Zepplin Anderson, Matt Hickman, and Adam and Shane Fuston.
Interment was in Greenville Cemetery, under the direction of Craddock Funeral Home, Ardmore.
