Services for Odessa Graham, 75, of Cookville, Texas, were held at 2 p.m., Monday, October 13, in the Leon Baptist Church, with Rev. Sonny Pyles officiating.
Mrs. Graham was born June 13, 1928, at Jimtown, the daughter of Ervin Edward and Eunice Dell Powell Robinson. She died Friday, October 10, 2003, in a Mt. Pleasant Health Care Facility, Mt. Pleasant, Texas.
Mrs. Graham was a resident of Love County for 23 years. She had made her home in Cookville for the past 39 years. She and Burl Daniel Graham were married on November 16, 1946 in Gainesville, Texas. He preceded her in death on December 29, 1990. She graduated from Leon High School in 1946. Mrs. Graham was a homemaker and also enjoyed fishing and camping. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Cookville.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Diane Graham, Cookville; one daughter, Cheryle Tigert, Mt. Pleasant; one brother and sister-in-law, Weldon and Patsy Robinson, Gonzales, Louisiana; six grandchildren, Nikki Wright, Greg Graham, Staci Acker Cook, Chris Rozzell, Cindy Weaver and Tammie Graham; and three great-grand-children, Cheyenne Wright, Baylie Wright and Kathryn Weaver.
In addition to her husband, whe was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Johnnie Robinson.
Pallbearers were Billy Ed Powell, Jimmy Frazier, Billy Ray Robinson, Mac Frazier, Jeff Graham and Kevin Frazier. Honorary pallbearers were Joe Ben Frazier and Bill Ennis.
Interment was in the Leon Cemetery, Leon, under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home, Marietta.
