Services for Terry W. Folsom, 54, of rural Ardmore, were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 22, in the Wilson First Baptist Church with the Rev. Ernest Maddon officiating.

Mr. Folsom was born April 23, 1946, at Greenville, the son of Rudolph Stanton and Helen Fisher Folsom. He died Sunday, November 19, 2000, at Oswalt.

Born and raised at Greenville, Mr. Folsom graduated from Greenville High School in 1964, then attended two years of college at Murray State College in Tishomingo. He and Karen R. Samiec were married June 5, 1982, in Ardmore. Mr. Folsom had lived in Love and Carter counties most of his life. He had served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. Mr. Folsom had been employed by First National Bank in Ardmore for 13 years, then American National Bank for five years, from 1993 to 1997, the last four years as branch manager of the Wilson Branch.

Survivors include his wife, Karen of the home; two daughters, Taloa and April Folsom, both of the home; two brothers, Jimmy Folsom of Marietta and Dr. Tandy Folsom of San Benito, Texas; and three sisters, Peggy Folsom and Beverly Thomas, both of Lewisville, Texas, and Mona Blend of Tyler, Texas.

Mr. Folsom was preceded in death by his parents.

Serving as pallbearers were Dr. Tom McCulloh, Ronnie Porter, Calvin Eubanks, Don Davenport, Ron Alexander and Shannon Roberts.

Interment was in the Dixie Cemetery, north of Ringling, under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home, Wilson.
