Services for Stella Flatt, 91, of Fort Worth, Texas, were held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Leon Baptist Church with Rev. Freddie Cash officiating.
Mrs. Flatt was born October 14, 1908, at Roswell, New Mexico, and died December 25, 1999, in Fort Worth. She was the daughter of Henry and Mary Hyman.
Mrs. Flatt had lived in Love County until 1950 when she moved to Texas to make her home. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by five sons, Robert Flatt of Cleburne, Texas, Don Flatt and Charles Flatt of Fort Worth, Richard Flatt of Dallas, Texas, and Ronnie Flatt of Haltom City, Texas; three daughters, Velma L. Nabors and Cleta C. Becker of Fort Worth, and Mablene Linthicum of Rio Vista, Texas; a brother, Sprout Hyman of Leon; two sisters, Velma Reed of Leon and Faber Melson of Oscola, Texas; 23 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and eight step great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Flatt was preceded in death by her husband, Sylvester Flatt on December 24, 1990.
Interment was in the Leon Cemetery with Keith Flatt, Bobby Flatt, Ricky Linthicum, Dewayne Becker, Brad Norman, Randy Nabors, Danny Linthicum and Charles Flatt serving as pallbearers.
Services were directed by Kennedy Funeral Home.
