Services for Lena C. Finton, 74, were Monday at 7:00 p.m. in Marietta's First Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Higle officiating.

Mrs. Finton was born March 1, 1918, in Humbolt, South Dakota, the daughter of Christian and Elma Reickelt Larson, and died October 4, 1992, in an Ardmore hospital.

A resident of Marietta for 14 years, she moved here from Rochester, Minnesota. She married LeRoy Finton October 20, 1938, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Mrs. Finton was a homemaker and a member of the Marietta First Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, LeRoy Finton of the home; two sons, Robert A. Finton of White Pine, Michigan, and LeRoy Finton, Jr. of San Jose, California; a daughter, JoAnn DeLeo of Gilroy, California; three brothers, Simon Larson of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Willie Larson of Sioux Falls, and Eli Larson of Germantown, Ohio; four sisters, Mable Gyberg of Luverne, Minnesota, Lillian Finton of Lone Grove, Ruby Sonan of Coleman, South Dakota, and Evelyn Knott of San Jose; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Interment was in Woodland Cemetery, Sioux Falls, under the direction of Chapel Hill Funeral Home, Sioux Falls. Local arrangements were under the direction of the Anderson-Kennedy Funeral Home.
