Services for Gary Mack Foster, 27, were Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Anderson-Kennedy Funeral Home. Officiating was Rev. Tim Emmons, minister of the Eastside Baptist Church, with a eulogy by Marietta Coach Bill Johnson.
Born March 27, 1967, at Andrews, Texas, Mr. Foster died January 23, 1995, in the Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma, Durant. He was the son of Val Foster and Jan Randall.
Mr. Foster had made his home in Durant for the past five years, moving there from Marietta. He was employed by Southwest Cablevision of Durant. Of the Baptist faith, Mr. Foster was baptized at Eastside Baptist Church.
He is survived by his father, Val Foster of Marietta; his mother, Faye Foster of Ada; two brothers, James Stout of Oklahoma City and Johnny Foster of Ada; and two sisters, Cathy Stout and Valerie Foster of Ada.
Services were directed by Anderson-Kennedy Funeral Home with interment in Lakeview Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Don Bloomer, Kenny Gwin, Jack Higgins, Bill Shankles, Rod Shankles and Allen Burns. Robert Paul Hughes was honorary pallbearer.
