Services for Jeffrey Scott Eppler, 45, were held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, February 20, in the First Baptist Church in Madill, with Bob Waitman and Roy Vinson officiating. Music was arranged by Nancy Rosson.
Mr. Eppler was born January 7, 1957, at Pensacola, Florida, the son of Omar Clinton and Juanita Matheson Eppler. He died Sunday, February 17, 2002, in Cushing.
He lived his early years in Odessa, Texas, and moved to Lebanon in 1965. Mr. Eppler graduated from Madill High School in 1975. He and Tonya Eldridge were married August 10, 1979, in Madill. Mr. Eppler worked for Total Refinery in
Ardmore for four to five years and for REA for 12 years. He was a farmer and
rancher, and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Madill.
Survivors include his wife, Tonya Eppler, of Madill; two sons, Justin Eppler and Brian Eppler, both of Madill; parents, Clinton and Juanita Eppler of Lebanon; a grandmother, Bessie Bell of Madill; and a sister, Terri Cox of
Canyon, Texas.
Pallbearers were Joe Sikes, Richard Cahill, Sam Goodwin, Basil Savage, Barkley Martin, Randy Hagood and Jim Davis.
Interment was in Lebanon Cemetery, under the direction of Watts Funeral Home, Madill.
Memorial contributions may be made to the building fund of the First Baptist Church of Madill.
