Services for Winnie Mae Claypool were at 10:00 a.m. Thursday in Craddock Memorial Chapel, Ardmore.
Mrs. Claypool was born June 9, 1914, at Reck and died March 9, 1998, in an Ardmore hospital. She was the daughter of James and Hariett Dooley Guy.
She married Chester Harold Claypool in Chickasha on July 12, 1934. They moved to Southern Oklahoma 20 years ago from Tyler, Texas. Mrs. Claypool was a member of the Thackerville Community Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband, Chester Harold Claypool of the home; two sons, H.D. Claypool of Ardmore and Donald Lee Claypool of Moore; two sisters, Dora Lee Steele of Fresno, California, and Juanita Eakins of Ardmore; a brother, Jack L. Guy of Wilson; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Claypool was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Ann Davis; two brothers, Pat Guy and Cecil Guy; and a sister, Audrey Clayton.
Interment was in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Craddock Funeral Home. Pallbearers were nephews and grandsons, Chris Kneggs, Kevin Claypool, Keevin Claypool, Mickey Guy, Gary Guy, Raymond Guy and Donnie Guy.
