Robert H. "Bob" Campbell

Services for Robert H. "Bob" Campbell were Monday at 2:00 p.m. in the Eastside Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Higle and Rev. Steve Gardner officiating.
Born December 15, 1923, at Leon, Mr. Campbell died December 20, 1997, at his residence following a brief illness. He was the son of John Robert and Georgia Elizabeth Williams Campbell.
A resident of Love County most of his life, he married Rozelle Hill January 27, 1947, at Gainesville, Texas. Mr. Campbell was a retired home builder and a member of the Zaneis Baptist Church. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. In his spare time, Mr. Campbell enjoyed gardening.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Rozelle Campbell of the home in Marietta; a son and daughter-in-law, Jim Bob and Tabby Campbell of Marietta; two daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Ronnie Norton of Marietta and Deborah and Jud Deaner of Heidelberg, Germany; a brother, Larkin Campbell of Conroe, Texas; three sisters, Gladys Knapp and Elva Kerley of Ardmore and Margaret Stewart of Marietta; his mother-in-law, Jay Hill of Marietta; a special nephew, Robert H. Kerley of Ardmore; grandchildren, Kristi and Griff Servati, Robert Shane Norton, Aaron Rudd, Telina Rudd and Ariel Deaner; and a great-granddaughter, Raigan Elizabeth Servati.
Mr. Campbell was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Georgia E. Campbell; a brother, Jim Campbell; and two sisters, Mary Lou Campbell and Jo Walker.
Interment was in Lakeview Cemetery directed by Kennedy Funeral Home. Pallbearers were grandsons, Robert Shane Norton, Griff Servati, and Aaron Rudd; and cousins, Bob Longest, Eddie Pat Spears and Darrell Williams. Honorary bearers included Robert H. Kerley, Fred Walker, Manuel Nix, Willis Choate IV, Bill Grovenburg, G.W. Flanagan, Sam Barrick, Jimmy Hill and Dan Handschin.
The family requests that donations be made to Cross Timbers Hospice, 1514 Meadow Lane, Ardmore, OK 73401.
