Services for Meddia Leigh Clifford, 88, of Marietta, were held at 2 p.m., Friday, January 3, at the Enville Community Church, with the Rev. Don Williams and the Rev. Don Keizor officiating.
Mrs. Clifford was born February 2, 1914, in Seminole County, the daughter of Ollie and Minnie Bell Brown Green. She died Tuesday, December 31, 2002, in the Woodview Nursing Home, Ardmore.
A homemaker, Mrs. Clifford had been a resident of Love County since the early 1980's. She had previously lived in Ardmore since 1973, moving there from Ohio. Mrs. Clifford was an avid gardener. She and Francis S. Clifford were married in Lubbock, Texas, on February 8, 1965, and he preceded her in death on March 16, 1989. Mrs. Clifford was a member of the Enville Community Church.
Survivors include a host of friends, neighbors and church family.
Mrs. Clifford was also preceded in death by her parents; a sister and a brother.
Pallbearers were Robert Goff, Jeff Reece, Dr. Lester Schacher, John Hochgraefe, Jeff Willis and Chad Robinson.
Interment was in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Ardmore, under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home, Marietta.
