Services for Inez Clark, 87, were Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. in the Leon Baptist Church with Rev. Dwight Hawkins officiating.
Mrs. Clark was born February 13, 1907, at Leon, Indian Territory, and died September 24, 1994, in an Ardmore hospital. She was the daughter of Robert and Mabel Forkner Washington.
Mrs. Clark, a resident of Leon all of her life, married E.L. "Bud" Clark at Leon on September 25, 1925. She was a homemaker and a longtime member of the Leon First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, E.L. "Bud" Clark of the home at Leon; a son and daughter-in-law, Eldon "Buddy" and Dee Clark of Ardmore; four daughters and sons-in-law, Bobbie and Wendell Knowles of Lone Grove, Martha and Tracy Alford of Cortez, Colorado, Lula Bell and Bill Lovell of Yukon, and Gladys Suggs of Ardmore; nine grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Interment in the Leon Cemetery was under the direction of the Anderson-Kennedy Funeral Home. Assisting as pallbearers were Lynson Autry, Hank Jones, Darrel Knowles, Richard Wild, Brad Blakely and Larry Graham. Honorary bearers included Bob Hartman, Clifford Harris, Dallas Taliaferro, Jr., Gerald Bone, Pat Parker, Harold Newman, Joe Pierce and Kelly Bryant.
