Graveside services for Emma Pool Cooley will be today (Friday) at 2:00 p.m. in Lakeview Cemetery with Dr. Glen Pool of Norman officiating.

Mrs. Cooley was born July 15, 1909, at Oswalt, the daughter of J.C. and Maude Knight Pool, and died June 23, 1993, in an Ardmore hospital at the age of 83.

She was raised in Love County and had been a resident of Ardmore for 20 years. Mrs. Cooley was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by three brothers, Lynn Pool and Earl Pool of Marietta and Ben Pool of Oklahoma City; two sisters, Hazel Simmons and Veda Stevens of Ardmore; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Cooley was preceded in death by her husband, S.J. Cooley on March 19, 1987; and two brothers, Jimmy Pool and M.G. Pool.

Anderson-Kennedy Funeral Home will direct the services.
