Graveside services for Douglas Shane Cunningham were Friday, May 24, at 10 a.m. in the Simon Cemetery with Rev. Jim Gillum and Missy Miller officiating.

Mr. Cunningham was born January 2, 1964, at Enid, and died May 20, 1996, in Valdosta, Georgia, after a sudden illness.

A 1981 graduate of Turner High School, Mr. Cunningham had lived in the Wilson area most of his life. He was a driver for Saunders Trucking. He and Liz Acox were married January 21, 1994, at Gainesville, Texas.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Liz Cunningham of the home; a son, D.J. of Lone Grove; his parents, Vivian and Sonny James and Douglas Cunningham of Wilson; a brother, Donald of Wilson; and a sister, Kelly James of Wewoka.

Services were under the direction of Reser Funeral Home.
