Graveside services for Viola Olivia "Baby" Buckaloo, 82, of Marietta, were held at 10 a.m., Monday, September 10, at Lakeview Cemetery, Marietta, with the Rev. Jim Duck officiating.

Mrs. Buckaloo was born July 25, 1919, in Loves Valley, the daughter of William Henry and Littie Mae Hughes Burton. She died Friday, September 7, 2001, in Lake Country Manor Nursing Home in Marietta.

A lifelong Love County resident, she had worked as a presser at Marietta Sportswear and then in the packing department at Marietta Bakery before retiring. Mrs. Buckaloo attended school in Loves Valley. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Ray and Mary Buckaloo of Marietta; two brothers, Willard Burton of Marietta and Bo Burton of Mannsville; a sister, Rosie Crow of Marietta; two grandchildren, Lisa and Dennis Flanagan and Cheryl and Robert Holland; and five great-grandchildren, Robby Holland, Brandon Fincher, Ethan Fincher, Steven Flanagan and Mikey Flanagan.

Mrs. Buckaloo was preceded in death by her parents.

Arrangements were under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home, Marietta.
