Services for S.F. "Sid" Bone, 99, of Marietta were Thursday at 2:00 p.m. in Marietta's First Baptist Church with Marion Bone and Rev. Steve Gardner officiating.

Mr. Bone was born November 8, 1900, at Pike in Love County, Indian Territory, the son of Marion Francis and Margaret Harris Bone, and died December 7, 1999, in Mercy Health Love County, Marietta.

A resident of Love County all of his life, he was a retired farmer and rancher and a member of the Eastside Baptist Church.

He is survived by six sons and daughters-in-law, Cal and Alice Bone of El Paso, Texas, Jim and Dolly Bone and Jerry and Terri Bone of Thackerville, John and Virginia Bone and Sammie Joe and Peggy Phillips of Marietta, and Marion and Barbara Bone of Houston, Texas; three daughters and sons-in-law, Laura and Dub Bell and Rozella Barrick of Marietta, and Ilene and Ronald Skinner of Lawson, Missouri; a sister, Rosie Wilkins of Antlers; 28 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Mr. Bone was preceded in death by his first wife, Ura Bone on May 24, 1947; his second wife, Minnie Bone on June 16, 1988; two sons, S.F. Bone, Jr. on December 3, 1998, and Juette Bone in 1925; a daughter, Lynda Bone in 1944; five brothers, George Bone, A.B. Bone, Horton Bone, Preston Bone and Jim Bone; a sister, Maggie Davis; a daughter-in-law, Frankie Bone on March 6, 1994; a son-in-law, J.T. Barrick in 1984; and a granddaughter, Kayla Phillips in November 1970.

Services were under the direction of Kennedy Funeral Home with interment in the Burneyville Cemetery. Grandsons served as casket bearers.
