Services for Johnny Ray Buckaloo, 30, were Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in Victory Chapel, Thackerville, with Rev. Gary Stallings officiating.
Mr. Buckaloo was born Mary 2, 1964, at Ardmore, and died April 26, 1995, at Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City. He was the son of Lome Prize and Annie Irene Dale Buckaloo.
A resident of Love County all of his life, Mr. Buckaloo worked on a casing crew in the oilfield. He was of the Protestant faith.
Survivors include his mother, Irene Sharp Patterson of Thackerville; his fiance, Chrystal Stewart of the home at Thackerville; two sons, Jonathon Dwayne Buckaloo adn Phillip Shawn Buckaloo of the home; two daughters, Sheena LaKay Buckaloo and Misty Nicole Buckaloo of the home; two step-children, Toby and Christina of the home; seven brothers, Robert Buckaloo and Gary Buckaloo of Marietta, Joe Buckaloo and Jimmy Buckaloo of Leon, Lee Buckaloo and Bill Buckaloo of Thackerville and Ralph Buckaloo of Gainesville, Texas; four sisters, Quintilla Stucks of Moore, Eileen Chase of Tishomingo, Sally Saldono of Gustine, Texas, and Mary Lou Morgan of Thackerville.
Mr. Buckaloo was preceded in death by his father, Lome Prize Buckaloo on August 10, 1963; and a sister, Ruth Buckaloo on August 28, 1958.
Interment was in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Thackerville, under the direction of the Anderson-Kennedy Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers were Dwayne Buckaloo, Jason Parker, Jordan Buckaloo, Trey Collins, Woody Parker, Jr. and Chad Buckaloo. Honorary bearers included Chad Treadwell, Matt Buckaloo and Brett Chase.
