Graveside services for Gladys M. Brown were Monday at 2:00 p.m. in Lakeview Cemetery, with Rev. Tommy Higle, pastor of Marietta's First Baptist Church, officiating.
Born April 14, 1901, in Marietta, Indian Territory, Mrs. Brown died February 27, 1993, in Edmond at the age of 91. She was a homemaker and a member of Marietta's First Baptist Church. She was married to Paul R. Brown.
Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Jerry Brown of Tulsa; a son-in-law, Gil Haugen of Hobbs, New Mexico; three grand-daughters, Susan Turpen and Nancy Haugen of Oklahoma City, and Janie Herwig of Hobbs; three grandsons, Jack Brown of the Philippines, Gerald Brown of Hawaii, and Ricky Brown of Denison, Texas; a brother, Oliver Scarbrough of Marietta; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband Paul R. Brown; a son, Paul I. Brown; and a daughter, Jean Brown Haugen.
Services were under the direction of Leonard Funeral Home, Bixby.
