Services for Marie A. Ables are pending and will be announced by Adrian Comer Funeral Home, Pueblo, Colorado.
Mrs. Ables was born December 19, 1910, at Buxton, Iowa, the daughter of Elmer and Grace Shurbine Anderson, and died July 27, 1996, in the Love County Health Center, Marietta, at the age of 85.
She had lived in Paris, Texas, and Cooper, Texas, for the past two years, previously making her home in Greeley, Colorado, and Pueblo, Colorado. Mrs. Ables was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pueblo and a lifetime member of Eastern Star. In her younger years, she was a member of the Cattle Women's Association and was active in the Youth Rodeo Association.
She is survived by a daughter, Sandy Beeman of Marietta; and grandchildren, Michael Casey Beeman and T.J. Willis.
Mrs. Ables was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert L. Ables on July 23, 1991.
