Word has been received of the death of Hattie Robinson Austin, 93, who died July 1 in Mississippi.

She was born September 5, 1902, and made her home in Loves Valley for a number of years before moving in 1927. She was formerly married to Robert Luther Walker, who was a longtime Love County resident.

Mrs. Austin is survived by a son, Jess Walker of Simi Valley, California; and two daughters, Estel Miller of Santa Clara, California, and Lois Verseckes of Mississippi. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Oleta Walker.
