Elmer "Bug" Brandon

Born May 5, 1919, in Idabel, Mr. Brandon died October 7, 1991, at his home at Elmore City. He had lived in the Orr community and the Elmore City-Katie area all of his life. An employee of Lone Star Gas Company for 26 years, he was retired at the time of his death. Mr. Brandon married Ina Mae Hodson October 18, 1941, in San Luis Obispo, California. They would have celebrated their Fiftieth Wedding Anniversary this month.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ina Mae Brandon of the home; three daughters, Sherrie Grimes of Chaska, Minnesota, Jane Frazier of Elmore City, and Alice Turner of Moore; two brothers, Virgil Brandon of Granbury, Texas, and Floyd Brandon of Fort Smith, Arkansas; three sisters, Effie Pruitt and Bessie Baxley of San Jose, California, and Florance Williams of Ringling; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Mr. Brandon was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
Interment was in the Orr Cemetery under the direction of Wooster
Funeral Home.
