Services for Agnes I. Smith, 88, of Thackerville, were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 31, in the Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home Chapel, Marietta, with pastor Matthew Weathers officiating.
Interment was in Mt. Zion
Cemetery, Thackerville.
Born March 2, 1919, at Thackerville, the daughter of Henry and Johnnie
Smith, she died Sunday, July 29, 2007, in the North Texas Health and
Rehab Center, Gainesville, Texas.
Survivors include three nieces, Mary Gilbreath and Kitty Eley of
Gainesville, and Barbara Whittington of Thackerville; many great-nieces
and nephews; great-great-nieces and nephews; and a host of other
relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, John Smith and
Frank Smith; and four sisters, Bonnie Smith, Connie Smith, Myrtle Smith
and Mollie Smith.
Pallbearers were Leon Bayer, Eric Bayer, Micah Bayer, David Hensley,
Bobby Spradling and Justin Whittington.
