Timothy Chester Reed was born August 23, 1955, at Gainesville, TX, the son of Chester and Era Lee Roberts Reed. He passed away Friday, January 2, 2015, at Mercy Health Love County, Marietta, at the age of 59.

A farmer, he was a lifelong area resident.
 
Mr. Reed graduated from Thackerville High School, the class of 1973, and also attend Vo-Tech in Ardmore during the 1971-72 school year. He and Linda Carole Cross were married in Las Vegas, NV on August 21, 1996. Mr. Reed was a member of the Thackerville Baptist Church. 
 
Tim was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Randall Reed; and three sisters, Virginia Kretzschmar, Linda Sampson, and Judy Tabler.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Carole Reed of the home; son, Dustin Reed of Sanger, TX; three daughters and sons-in-law, Kristi and Michael Palmer of Bozeman, MT, Amy and Bobby Wilson of Thackerville, and Sarah Garrett of Denton, TX; three stepdaughters, Meshelle and Jasen Smock of Fort Worth, TX, Lynzee Pendergraft of Marietta, and Jamie Sullivan of Thackerville; seven brothers and sisters-in-law, Gilbert and Roxanne Reed of Kingston, OK, Byron and Lana Reed of Thackerville, Gary Reed of Thackerville, Lonnie Reed of Gainesville, Steven and Janeth Reed of Thackerville, Anthony and Karen Reed of Thackerville, and Johnny and Tina Reed of Marietta; sister and brother-in-law, Sherry and Charlie Milam of Thackerville; grandchildren, Jacob and Kylee Palmer of Bozeman, Katlyn Palmer of Bozeman, Ethan, Emma and Elyssa Wilson of Thackerville, Lane Garrett of Denton, Jacob, Matthew and Christopher Belcher of Vashti, TX, Jay and Gage Hott and Brady Pendergraft of Marietta; and great-granddaughter, Laela Mae Palmer of Bozeman. 
 
Serving as casket bearers are Matthew Reed, Michael Bond, Tony Reed, William Reed, Wesley Reed, and Brandon Sampson.
