Don V. Murry, 68, of Thackerville, OK was born May 9, 1943, in Gainesville, TX, the son of Luther T. and Pauline Tooley Murry. He passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2011, in Mercy Memorial Health Center, Ardmore, OK. 
 
Mr. Murry had been a resident of Love County for the past 12 years. He had been employed in the facility and machinery maintenance department of a pharmacy company lab. His hobbies included playing golf, horseshoes, board games, shooting pool and target shooting with handguns. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family, also camping and trips to the ocean. He and Velma Burkhart were married in Gainesville on May 25, 1962.
 
Preceding him in death were his parents; and a brother, Paul Murry.

He is survived by his wife, Velma Murry of the home; four daughters and sons-in-law, Angie D. and Tomi Trigg of North Richland Hills, TX, Donna L. and Jimmy McCollum of Overbrook, OK, Sheila R. and Roy Frosch of Aledo, TX, and Diana and Darrel Kizer of Watauga, TX; two brothers and sister-in-law, Byron and Rosie Murry and Malvern Murry, all of Granbury, TX; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Johnny Moncrief of Fort Worth, TX; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Serving as honorary bearers will be Don Kizer, Bo Kizer, Jeff Garner, Tanner Trigg and Samuel Frosch.
