Roy Eugene Moore was born on November 22, 1960 in Sherman, TX. The youngest of three children of Edward and Floys Moore. He passed away June 10. 2026 at his home in Longview, TX.


Mr. Moore began his career as a welder upon ending high school and continued building his skill and reputation throughout the area. A lifelong welder his long career included Mayhan Fabricators, Miether, Inc, and Global Industries. Having traveled nationwide offering his skills and expertise, he ended his career at Komatsu as a welder and shop foreman. His hobbies included fishing, motorcycle riding, and spending time with family and friends.


A loving husband, brother, uncle and son, Mr. Moore is preceded in death by his parents, Edward E. and Floys Moore.


Left to cherish his memory includes his wife, Kelli Moore; his brother, Edward W. Mooreof Gilmer, TX; his sister and brother-in-law, Wynona and Reese Wright, Sr of Longview; and ex-sister-in-law, Jackie Kelly of Longview; nieces, Tanya (Jeff) Kronschnabl of Frisco, TX, Dana (Aaron) Fial of Longview; nephews, Reese Wright, Jr. of Denton, TX, Donny (Karyn) Moore of Gilmer; three great-nieces, Sarah Kronschnabl of Frisco, TX, Nova Marie Moore of Gilmer, Reila Marie Fial of Longview; and great-nephew, Matthew Kronschnabl of Frisco.


In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Marshall Hospice of East Texas (Marshall, TX) or the charity of your choosing.


Serving as casket bearers are Richard Whittington, Ronnie Whittington, Allan Whittington, Jerry Allen, Tony Whittington, and Gregg Hicks.
