Graveside services for Ronald Dewayne Lemke, 65, of Thackerville were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 3 in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Thackerville, with Pastor Eric Hollar and Pastor Brandon Hollar officiating.

Born November 4, 1952, at Bethesda, Maryland, the son of Raymond and Peggy Edgar Lemke, he died Wednesday, October 31, 2018, in Mercy Health Love County, Marietta.

A resident of Love County most of his life, Ronald was a self-employed carpenter for more than 40 years. He enjoyed being with family, especially his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond J. Lemke.

Survivors include his mother, Peggy Kerr of Thackerville; three sons, Russell Dewayne Kretzschmar and wife Stephanie of Lindsay, Mark Lemke of Durant, and Tim Birdwell and wife Yvonda of Ardmore; two daughters, Michele Christopher and husband Andy of Muenster, Texas, and Tiffany Spears and husband Matt of Marietta; three brothers, Steve Kerr and wife Tara of Thackerville, Michael Lemke of Chesapeake, Virginia, and Randy Lemke of Panama City, Florida; four sisters, Ann Hollar and husband John of Durant, Sandra Welch of Thackerville, Roxanne Pringle and Ron Parks of Chesapeake, and Debbie Sabrowsky and husband Larry of Albany, Minnesota; 14 grandchildren, Lexi, Taylor, Wyatt, Scott, Jared, Mathew, A.J., Kelsey, Devon, Anna, Waylon, Emma, Hunter, and Elizabeth; and a great-grandson, August.

Serving as pallbearers were Russell Dewayne Kretzschmar, Matt Spears, Andy Christopher, Steve Kerr, Timmy Birdwell, and Roy Bozeman.
