Services for Lloyd Leon Crelia, 99, of Marietta were held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 30 in the Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home Chapel with Robby Peyrot officiating, assisted by Peggy Taylor.
 
Interment followed in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, Thackerville.
 
Born May 5, 1910 at Bomar, the son of Edgar and Lillie Knight Crelia, he died Sunday, December 27, 2009 in Lake Country Nursing Center.
Mr. Crelia grew up in Eldorado before moving to Thacker- Ville to make his home. He and Joy Jones were married October 6, 1945 in Vernon, Texas, and she preceded him in death on June 10, 2005. Mr. Crelia graduated from Midway High School in Jackson County. He was employed by Weber Aircraft, retired from Marietta Sportswear Manufacturing as security of the parking lot, in addition to farming. His hobbies included homestyle dances in his younger days, wolf hunting with dogs, horseback riding and singing in a church group. Mr. Crelia was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Thackerville.
 
He was also preceded in death by his parents; four sons, Rayburn Crelia, Lyndon Crelia, Eddy Crelia and Billy Moore; and a sister, Thelma Mitchell.
 
Survivors included a son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Linda Crelia of Spanish Fort, Alabama; three daughters and son-in-law, Kathy Kelley of Marietta, Polly Phillips of Ardmore, and Peggy and Don Taylor of North Richland Hills, Texas; sister, Aubrey Langston of Marietta; 19 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; niece, Nita Terry of Eldorado; and nephew, Mike Langston of Fort Worth, Texas.
 
Pallbearers were grandsons, Ronnie Paul Phillips, Kevin Burkhart, Jeff Burkhart, Cody Crelia, Casey Crelia and Croley Loyd. Honorary bearers were Rodney Hartman, Josh Crelia, Curt Moor, Tracy Powell and Ronnie Voyles.
 
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Lake Country Nursing Center or the Alzheimer’s Association, c/o Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home, 100 East Main St., Marietta, OK 73448.
