Graveside memorial services for Connie Faye Burkhart, 64, of Ardmore were held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, September 8 in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Thackerville with Rev. Donny Custar officiating.

Born May 14, 1946 in Gainesville, Texas, the daughter of Todd and Dottie M. Acrea Burkhart, she died Thursday, September 2, 2010 in Mercy Memorial Health Center, Ardmore. A resident of Love County most of her life, Miss Burkhart enjoyed singing and was a member of Thackerville First Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; four brothers, Kenneth Colston, Glester Burkhart, J.D. Burkhart and her twin, Donnie Burkhart; and a sister, Patty J. Abney.

She is survived by two sisters, Velma Murry of Marietta and Dorothy Durbin of Brownstown, Illinois.
