Services for Jeffrey Lynn Bone, 48, of Marietta were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 1 at Thackerville's Wildcat Stadium with Brother Murray McMurray and Marion Bone officiating.

Interment followed at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Thackerville.
 
Born December 31, 1968, in Sherman, Texas, the son of Jerry Dwain and Terri Lynn Cain Bone, he died Saturday, February 25, 2017, in OU Medical Center, Oklahoma City.
 
A 1987 graduate of Thackerville High School, Jeff was the biggest fan of Thackerville athletics the school could ever have or hop to have. He also enjoyed watching the Texas Rangers, the Mavericks, and the Dallas Cowboys, and was the coach of the Men's Open Softball League team that won the State Championship one year.
 
Jeff loved traveling. . . he was happiest when on the go. He also enjoyed the outdoors, boating, riding three-wheelers, fishing, and deer hunting. Jeff was proud of the Flying "J" Ranch and his cows. He loved time with his family and friends which included hosting a fish fry annually and also Super Bowl parties. Other interests included his love of music and doing karaoke. Jeff was a member of the Thackerville Community Church of Christ.
 
Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Claud and Velester Cain and Sid and Minnie Bone; aunts and uncles, Carol and Bill Shankles, Jim Bone, Rowena Cain, Roszella Barrick, and Laura Bell; and cousins, Bobby Pearman, Tracy Cain, and Stacy Cain.
 
Survivors include his parents, Jerry and Terri Bone of the home; brother and sister-in-law, Jason and Sheritha Bone of Marietta; aunts and uncles, Dean and Claudia Pearman of Thackerville, Richard Cain and Gerri and Delmar Shurbet of Marietta, Harroll and Peggy Cain of Forestburg, Texas, Darrell and Janie Cain of Marietta, Marion and Barbara Bone of Houston, and Dolly Bone and John and Virginia Bone of Marietta; nieces, Jacie Bone of Marietta and Josie Reeves of Thackerville; nephew, Devin Renteria of Marietta; great-nephew, Guss Reeves of Thackerville; as well as numerous cousins and a multitude of friends.
 
Serving as pallbearers were Chris McMahon, Ray Wolcott, Trey Hollar, Cody Cain, Todd Bone, and Jerry Fox. Honorary bearers were the Thackerville Senior Class of 1987, the past and present Thackerville Wildcat football players, Jimmy Don Pearson and Dr. Tom O'Connor.
 
The family suggest memorial contributions to Terri Bone for the Jeff Bone Memorial Fund, c/o First National Bank, Marietta.
