Phyllis Kathleen White, 67, of Marietta, OK, was born on July 7, 1958, in
Avenal, CA, to Wallace Calvin and Kathleen (Burton) Caldwell. She passed from
this life on August 14, 2025, at an Ardmore, OK nursing facility.
Phyllis spent most of her life in Love County where she raised her family. She
loved to cook, shop and spend time with her family. Back in her younger days,
one of her favorite hobbies was going out and two-stepping. She had been a
member of the First Baptist Church of Marietta.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her father, and a sister, Gayle Morgan.
Those left to cherish Phyllis’ memory are her son, Heath Hicks of Norman, OK;
granddaughter, Tinley White of TX; mother, Kathleen Caldwell of Marietta;
brother, Monty Caldwell and wife Tasha of Marietta; sister, DeQueta Renick of
Marietta; nieces, Christy Hammett, Kenzy Caldwell, Kate Lantrip and Kashlee
Kelley, all of Marietta,; nephews, Henry Renick and Jerry Don Renick of
Marietta; great nieces, and nephews, Taycee, Jansen, Jaxon, Emmett and Dayton;
special cousin, Janet Sparks of Marietta; and several cousins and extended
family members.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, August 19, at the Leon
Cemetery with Bro. Brett Alberda officiating and assistance by Bro. Zack King.
Services are under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home and Cremation
Services, Marietta.Casket bearers will be Henry Renick, Jerry Don Renick, A.J. Hammett, Dalton
Hammett, Jonathon Hammett and Derrick Gray. Honorary casket bearers are Joe
Russell and Kyle Kelley.
