Memorial services for Larry Wayne Smith, 56, of Marietta will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 18 at the Leon Cemetery.

Born March 6, 1959 in Spearman, Texas, the son of Hubert Allen and Betty Jean Fox Smith. He died Tuesday, April 7, 2015 in Mercy Hospital Ardmore.

A resident of Love County since 1989, Mr. Smith was employed in maintenance prior to moving here to make his home. Larry served in the U.S. Army. His hobbies included fishing, riding horses, training dogs, watching wrestling, playing the guitar and collecting antiques.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his mother, Betty Smith of Bellevue, Texas; wife, Barbara Smith of Wynnewood; son, Rusty Smith and wife Kimberly of Marietta; daughter, Brandy Smith Keller and husband Brad of Louisiana; two brothers, James Smith and wife Anita of Bellevue and David Smith of Hobbs, New Mexico; two sisters, Connie Graham and husband Larry of Leon and Donna Wallace and husband James of Tulsa; five grandchildren, Natalie, Aliza, Dylan, Raigan, and Belle; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
