Wanda Lee Caldwell was born March 12, 1935, in the Bowles Community of Love County, the daughter of Rush O. Caldwell and Maggie N. Kingston Caldwell. She passed away Friday, October 16, 2015, at her home in Marietta. 
 
A resident of Love County most of her life, Wanda worked as an operator and supervisor for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for 30 years, retiring in 1980. She enjoyed family gatherings in her home, listening to gospel music, and crocheting. Wanda was a member of Marietta's Eastside Baptist Church. 
 
Preceding her in death were her parents; a brother, Herman Caldwell; two sisters, Linda Lou Garner and Faye Martin; a niece; a nephew; and a great niece.

She is survived by a sister-in-law, Rudenia Caldwell of Broken Bow, OK; and many nieces and nephews.

Serving as casket bearers were great nephews, John Martin, Eric Woods, Joshua Pierce, Kayden Garner, Steven Couey, and Casey Martin. Honorary bearers were nephews.
