Marilyn Janice Vaughan, 86, of Marietta, Oklahoma, died on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at Mercy Hospital in Ardmore. Marilyn was born September 16, 1936, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Clarence and Helda (Gaeth) Krohn.
 
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 10 at Legate Cemetery with Lawrence Anderson officiating. A time of visitation will be held on Monday, January 9th, from 12:00 P.M to 5:00 P.M. at the Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home in Marietta.
 
Marilyn was a homemaker and of the Lutheran faith. She had lived in Marietta the past 59 years, moving from Crescent, OK. She enjoyed watching The Young and the Restless, but her true love was taking care of and spending time with her family.
 
She married Fines Edward Vaughan on August 27, 1956. He preceded her in death on March 5, 1985.
 
Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents; husband; and a daughter, Cindy Hill.
 
Survivors include long-time companion, Victor Vasquez of the home; sons, Terry Vaughan and companion Kim Garcia, and James Vaughan, all of Marietta; daughters, Tammy Vaughan and companion Tony Elliott of Marietta, and Dawn Lindsey of Shawnee, OK; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law, Carl Vaughan and wife Sharon, Richard Vaughan and wife Ronda, all of Ardmore, Lloyd Vaughan of Sherwood Shores, TX, and Donald Vaughan of McAlester, OK; and a sister-in-law, Janie Creecy of Ardmore.
 
Honorary casket bearers will be her grandchildren.
