Interment followed in Legate
Cemetery, Legate community, Love County.
Born November 15, 1942 at Thackerville, the daughter of J.B. and Viola
Stevens Pratt, she died Friday, June 5, 2020 at Carrus Specialty
Hospital, Sherman, Texas.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents;
brothers, Bill Pratt and wife Gayla and Arnold Pratt and wife Pat; and
sister, Joyce Lane and husband Paul.
Survivors include son, Larry Hice and wife Joyce of Marietta; two
grandsons, Corey Hice and wife Jessica of Marietta and Json Nicholson
and wife Crystal of Lone Grove; seven great-grandchildren, Allison,
Maddison, Addison, and Olive Hice of Marietta, and Kaden, Mikayla and
Asher Nicholson of Lone Grove; three brothers, Raymond Pratt and Jim
Pratt, both of Marietta and Weldon Pratt and wife Donna of Gainesville;
two sisters-in-law, Jimie Hice of Marietta and Valerie Reed and husband
Darrell of Leon; and numerous nieces and nephews that she loved.
Serving as pallbearers were Derrie Minyard, Earl Spears, Arthur Rickets,
Mike Mathis, Kevin Lane, and Scott Pratt. Honorary bearers were members
of the Enville Volunteer Fire Department.

Cemetery, Legate Community, OK, under the direction of Flanagan-Watts
Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Marietta, OK.
Born September 7, 1941, at Batson, OK to Chester and Eunice Dean-Hice,
Maxie passed away at his home on Saturday, June 8, 2019.
Maxie lived most of his life in Love County. He married Mary Pratt
January 4, 1963, in Gainesville, TX. He worked 21 years at the Little
Brownie Company in shipping and mixing before he finished his work
career at Uniroyal-Michelin as a cure operator until 2002. Maxie loved
to ride horses and coon hunt. He rode with the Enville Rebel and Ardmore
Riding Club in many pony express races. He was a member of the First
Baptist Church in Lebanon, OK, where he served as a deacon for many
years.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife,
Mary of the home; a son, Larry Hice and wife Joyce of Marietta; two
grandsons, Corey Hice and wife Jessica of Marietta and Jason Nicholson
and wife Crystal of Lone Grove, OK; six great-grandchildren, Allie,
Maddie, and Addie Hice of Marietta; Kaden, Mikayla, and Asher Nicholson
of Lone Grove; and two sisters, Jimie Hice of Marietta and Valerie Reed
and husband Darrell of Leon, OK.
Serving as pallbearers are Sonny Mobley, Gene Rhoades, Earl Spears, Mike
Mathis, Derrie Minyard and Truman Sandlin. Honorary bearers are Dale
Allen, Bill Russell, Willie Ed Douglas, Ralph Tullis, Waylon Brown,
Jason Riggs, C.A. Robinson and Chris Lemons.
Memorial contributions can be made to Cross Timbers Hospice.
Time of visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday from 6:00 p.m.
to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
