Graveside services for Maudine Davis Springs of Gainesville, will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 20, 2009 at Lakeview Cemetery in Marietta, Okla. with Marion Bone officiating. Services are under the direction of Clement-Keel Funeral Home.
Maudine Davis Springs passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at North Texas Medical Center.
Maudine Springs was born in Pike, Okla. to Norton and Maggie (Bone) Davis March 30, 1925. She graduated from Marietta High School in 1943 then went to work for Santa Fe Railroad as an operator, working forty-three years. She married Foy Lee Springs, in Gainesville. He preceded her in death Sept. 1, 1977. Mrs. Springs was a member of Hillcrest Church of Christ.
She is survived by a special niece, Carolyn Lauderdale of Denton; step-sons and their wives, Jerry and Jackie Springs of Fort Worth and Mike and Glenda Springs also of Fort Worth; six step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded n death by her parents; husband; sister, Janette Shaw and brothers, Troy, Claud Ray and Bill Davis.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Dale Bone, Jerry Bone, Marion Bone, John Bone, David Davis and Lonnie Davis.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. this evening, Nov. 19, 2009 at Clement-Keel Funeral Home.
