Born April 18, 1927 in Marietta, the son of Daniel Vernon and Minnie
Keel Liddell, he died Saturday, November 6, 2010 in Mercy Memorial
Health Center, Ardmore.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Liddell was preceded in death by his
parents; a son, Bobby Daral Liddell; two granddaughters, B.B.
Liddell and Kristina Liddell; two grandsons, Christopher and
Jonathan; three sisters, Emma, Jane and Dorothy; and four brothers,
Richard, D.V. “Chief”, Marvin and John C.
He is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, Bill Liddell, Jr.
and wife, Martha of Gainesville, Texas, Mike and Vanessa Liddell of
Marietta, Murray Kent Liddell of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Brian
and Teresa Liddell of Thackerville; three daughters, Glenda Liddell
of Marietta, Donna Hartman of Overbrook and Amy Henley of
Thackerville; a brother and sister-in-law, Ike and Bettie Liddell of
Gladewater; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Jeanne and Chudleigh
Cochran of Houston and Betty Lou and Tom Galloway of Marietta; 18
grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers were his grandsons, Danny Hartman, Rick
Hartman, Robert Liddell, Randall Liddell and Heath Liddell, and
friend, Jonathan Hammett. Honorary bearers were grandsons, Chase
Henley, Ronnie Hartman, Zack Liddell and B.J. Liddell; nephews,
Randy Liddell, Vernon Dean, Charlie Fred Dean and Charles “Odie”
Dean and friends, Mike Fox and Cecil Renteria.
