Interment
followed in Lakeview Cemetery, Marietta.
Born October 13, 1919 in Caradan, Texas, the daughter of Oream Dearl
and Virgie Virginia Denton Conway, she died Friday, March 29, 2013
in the Christian Health Care Center in Lynden.
Other than her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a
daughter, Barbara Sue Clifton; a son, Wesley Dearl Lemons; a
brother, Verlion Conway; a sister, Trelvia Gaither; a
great-grandson, Dalton Harbour; and a great-granddaughter, Payton
Harbour.
Survivors include a son, Gary Wayne Lemons of Enville; two daughters
and son-in-law, Patricia Ann and Bennie Martin of Lynden and
Teressia Jane Shaw of Fort Worth, Texas; three brothers and
sisters-in-law, Dalton and Irene Conway of Lone Grove, Hugh Conway
of Bakersfield, California and Wendyl and Mary Conway of Tuttle; a
sister, Glada Helen Griffin of Moore; a daughter-in-law, Gloria
Lemons of Marietta; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers were grandchildren, Tracy Lemons, Jason
Lemons, Tony Clifton, Cindy Harbour, David Lemons and Joley Lemons.
Honorary bearers were grandsons, Chad Martin and Greg Martin, Dr.
Tom O’Connor and Travis Huffman.
