Interment followed in Lakeview Cemetery, Marietta.
The daughter of Doc Henry and Jessie Hudson, Mrs. Langston was born
March 2, 1914 in a log cabin near Blue Lake, a small settlement not far
from Thackerville. She went home to her Lord to be reunited with a host
of loved ones on August 30, 2013 in Mercy Health Love County, Marietta.
She is survived by her children, daughters, Doris Scivally and husband
Thurman of Gainesville, Texas, Barbara Hunt of Thackerville and Tena
Lee, also of Gainesville; daughter-in-law, Betty Langston of Robson
Ranch, Texas; two sons, Jim Langston and wife Stephanie and Dutch
Langston and wife, Ann, all of Thackerville; 14 grandchildren; 32
great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces
and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers were Eddie Langston, Jeff Langston, Steve
Langston, Micah Hunt, Dale Scivally and Junior McLaughlin. Honorary
bearers were caregivers at Lake Country Nursing Center.
