Services for Opal Mae Lang of Callisburg, Texas, were at 10:00 a.m. Thursday in the Vilott Baptist Church with Rev. Milton Pledger officiating.

Mrs. Lang was born February 28, 1919, at Oswalt and died January 17, 2000, at her residence at the age of 81.  She was the daughter of William Chester and Emma K. Knight Faulkenberry. Mrs. Lang was a homemaker and a member of the Vilott Baptist Church.  She and Oral Wayman Lang were married September 16, 1935, in Marietta.

Survivors include her husband, Oral Wayman Lang; two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael Wayman & Patricia Lang and Rickie A. & Lisa Lang of Callisburg; a daughter, Billie Marshall of Lindsay, Texas; two brothers, "Shorty" Albert Faulkenberry and Ralph Faulkenberry of Marietta; a sister, Pearl Wallace of Ardmore; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Interment was in Lakeview Cemetery directed by Clement-Keel Funeral Home, Gainesville, Texas. 

Serving as pallbearers were Jim Foster, Allen Weir, Mike Bradley, Melvin Ware, Gene Hobbs and Keith Weaver.
