Memorial services for Dawn Marie Coyle, 61, of Shady Dale will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 10 in the McClain Stadium on the Marietta Public School campus with Brother Murray McMurray officiating.

Interment will follow in the Lakeview Cemetery, Marietta.

Born May 21, 1959 at Fort Worth, Texas, the daughter of Marion and Margaret Boaz Lee, she died Wednesday, September 30, 2020 in OU Medical Center, Oklahoma City. Dawn attended Castleberry Schools in Fort Worth. After graduating, she received an associate degree and later worked for 10 years as a logistics coordinator for General Dynamics in Fort Worth. On September 2, 1983, Dawn married Timothy Coyle in Fort Worth. The couple later moved to the Love County area where Dawn became instrumental in forming the Love County Fire Association Rehab Department. Over the years, she became known across the country as a horticulture expert. Dawn loved spending time gardening and tending to animals, especially dogs and cats. But perhaps her greatest joy in life was spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Tim Coyle of the home; son, Christopher Coyle and wife Jana of Ardmore; two brothers, Doug Lee and wife Angie of River Oaks, Texas and Billy Lee of Burleson, Texas; sister, Tammy Hinson and husband Lance of Fort Worth; and two grandchildren, Lillie Harper and Aurora Odell.

Visitations for family and friends will be held Friday, October 9 from 5 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family suggests memorial donations in Dawn’s memory be made to the Ardmore Animal Shelter, 321 Carol Brown Boulevard, Ardmore, OK 73401 or at www.ardmoreanimalshelter.org.
