Mrs. Cooper was born January 31, 1969 in Ardmore, the daughter of
Alvin L. & Billie V. Patton Carmon. She died Tuesday, March 14, 2000
at her residence.
She moved back to the Love/Marshall County area in 1987 from
McKinney, Texas. She and James "Jim" Cooper were married in
Marietta on November 25, 1997. Mrs. Cooper attended McKinney High
School and graduated from Aladdin Beauty College in 1984. She then
graduated from Professional Nursing School in 1997. Mrs. Cooper was
employed as a Home Health Nurse. She was a member of the First
Baptist Church of Lebanon and was currently attending the Marietta
First Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include her parents, Alvin L. & Billie V. Carmon of
Marietta; paternal grandparents, Earl & Helen Carmon of Marietta;
maternal grandmother, Voncile Underwood of Marietta; husband, James
"Jim" Cooper of Lebanon; two daughters, Cesali N. Carmon and
Brittany A. Carmon, both of the home; three brothers, Alvin Carmon,
Jr. of Marietta, Vince Carmon of Telephone, Texas, and Scotty Carmon
of Conroe, Texas; and two sisters, Billie J. Tuley and Barbara
Savage, both of Marietta.
Serving as pallbearers will be Robert Savage, Steve Morehead, Johnny Oliphant, Ricky Tuley and Chuck Todd.
Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery under the direction of Kennedy Funeral Home.
