Interment followed in Lakeview
Cemetery, Marietta.
Born May 19, 1935 in Villa Insurgentes, Sombrerete, Zacatecas, Mexico,
the son of Gavino Barrientos and Matiana Sanchez, he died Wednesday,
March 14, 2012 in the Marshall County Medical Center, Madill.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Juana Serrano; a
daughter, Margarita Barrientos; and two sisters, Julia and Senovia
Barrientos.
Survivors include four sons, Candelario Barrientos and Juan Barrientos
of Nashua, New Hampshire, Santiago Barrientos of Waco, Texas and Tony
Barrientos of Marietta; four daughters, Asunciona Barrientos and
Victoria Barrientos, both of Marietta, Petra Barrientos of Madill and
Amalia Barrientos of Nashua; a brother, Masedonio Barrientos of Waco;
two sisters, Pancha Barrientos and Maria Barrientos of Mexico; 31
grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were grandsons, Adrian Castaneda, Fernando Sanchez, Kevin
Barrientos, Jorge Barrientos, Mikey Barrientos, Julian Barrientos,
Ernesto Sanchez, Santos Sanchez and Daniel Cecenas.
