Raymond Lewis White, 83-year-old Jimtown, OK resident, passed away Monday, January 27, 2025, at his home.

Funeral services for Raymond will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 31, 2025, in the Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Marietta with Bro. Brett Alberda officiating.

Following services, Raymond will be laid to rest with his family in the Jimtown Cemetery.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
 
Raymond began this life on June 12, 1941, in Burneyville, OK the son of Howard and Euna (Carter) White. He graduated from Turner High School with the Class of 1959 and later served his country in the United States Army Reserve from October 27, 1963, until July 25, 1969. He began working as a plumber and soon opened and began operating Alpine Plumbing. Raymond operated his own company for many years.
 
Raymond lived in Jimtown for the biggest part of his life. He loved being outdoors hunting, fishing, and camping. Raymond spent countless hours trapping with F.S. Mapp and Ott Ladner. He also spent a lot of time scouring the countryside for what turned into an extensive arrowhead collection. Raymond took several trips to the Alaskan backcountry. When he wasn't enjoying the great outdoors, Raymond was known to restore a few classic Mustangs in his time.
 
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, Howard White, Sr. and Euna White; sister, Carol Lee; and son, Jimmy Lewis White.
 
Those left to cherish his memory are brothers, Howard White, Jr. of Burneyville, Michael White of Burneyville, and Keith White of Burneyville; sisters, Frances Savage of Madill, OK and Lynda Damron of Burneyville; granddaughter, Lyndsey Galaz of Lindale, TX; great-grandchildren, Kamdyn Moore and Silas Galaz; and numerous nieces and nephews.
