On Sunday, July 3, 2022, the world lost a beautiful soul, Euna Jane “Kitten” White at the age of 100 at Mercy Love County in Marietta, OK. Her journey in life began in Burneyville, OK on March 11, 1922. She was one of six children born to Onie J. and Dora P. (Holland) Carter.
 
Kitten married the love of her life, Howard F. White on November 3, 1940 in Marietta. He preceded her in death on January 7, 1985, two months after 44th anniversary. Kitten lived most of her life in the Burneyville area, except for a few years in California when Howard was in the United States Army. They were members of the Burneyville Baptist Church. Kitten was a homemaker. She loved to quilt, eat catfish, and most of all, spend time with her family.
 
In addition to her husband and parents, Kitten was preceded in death by her daughter, Carol Lee; grandsons, Troy White and Jimmy White; siblings, O.J. Carter, Aubrey Carter, Haskell Carter, Mary Johnson, and Beverly Jessup; son-in-law, Allen Damron; and daughters-in-law, Joy White and Gena White.
 
Left behind to cherish her memory are her four sons, Raymond White, Howard White Jr., Michael White, and Keith White, all of Jimtown, OK; two daughters, Lynda Damron and significant other Delbert McQueen of Jimtown and Frances Savage and husband Basil of McMillan, OK; 20 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. 
 
Services to celebrate Kitten’s life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 7, 2022 at the Burneyville Baptist Church with Pastor Robert Lee officiating.

Interment will follow at the Jimtown Cemetery under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
 

Casket bearers are her grandsons: Basil Savage Jr., Steven Savage, Clay Savage, Coy White, Nathan White, Nicholas White, Jeremy White, Travis White, William Shane Davis, Thomas Shane Smith, Dee Davis, and Lesley Knisley. Honorary bearers are her granddaughters: Misty Davis, Shannon Carlin, Rhonda Savage, Cheryl Andrews, Bobbie Beasley, and Angel Gillespie.
